Igbo language is the native language spoken widely by people who reside in the eastern region of Nigeria. Who are also known as people who migrate all over the world. The high level of migration of the Igbo tribe all over the world have lead Igbo people into forgetting their local languages.
Overtime, we see people who are Igbo's by origin finding it very difficult identifying things and animals by their names in Igbo language.
This article will list a total of one hundred (100) animals ranging from both Domestic and Wild Animals.
Below are Animals and their native Igbo names;
1) Goat = Ewu (Male = Mkpi, Female = Nne Ewu).
2) Fowl = Okuko (Male = Oke Ọkpa, Female = Nnekwu).
3) Guinea Fowl = Ọgazị.
4) Chick = Nwa Ọkụkọ.
