2022 UEFA Champions league Semi-final (First Leg) Liverpool Vs Villarreal 2-0 [Enyinnavictorblog]
At Anifield the home of Liverpool FC, hosted Villarreal to their first leg of the 2021/2022 UEFA Champions league Semi-finals.
Today's match started by 8pm. The First Half of the Match saw likes of Salah, Mane, Thiago and other missing wonderful chances for the Liverpool side and their counterpart Villarreal only had one attempt (Off Target).
The Match First Half ended with a goaless drawn.
As the game proceeded to the second half, Liverpool was able to see the back of the net with a shot an own goal for the Villarreal player at the 53rd Minutes. And a Second Goal coming from Sadio Mane at the 55th minutes of the game.
The Game ended in Full with Liverpool Scoring two (2) goals and Villarreal Nil.
Villarreal in all their three (3) attempts we're not able to find a goal at the Liverpool home. We look forward to the second leg by next week but this time it will be at Villarreal's home.
Questions on everybody's lip is will Villarreal be able to have a remarkable come back to reverse this to their favor???
